Last Day
Once again doors were opened. We spent the morning with a great group at a vocational school in Chimaltenango. It seems that upon leaving highschool everyone attends a vocational/technical school for 2-3 years before entering the University. What a novel idea. They have a girls and boys basketball team. They ranged in age from 17-21. What an opportunity. They were so receptive and once again God gave us just the right words to say. They invited us to stay and have lunch with them and we did. The Principal said he would love for us to come back to lead Bible studies. We had enough of a break for Cristobal and his wonderful wife to treat us to a trip to the Myan ruins. This afternoon we spent with the group that had been with us all week in the afternoon and we shared Jeff's special message at the end of the DVD. Afterwards, we gave them an opportunity to pray to accept Jesus as their Savior and walk them through the prayer together. Many of them indicated that they had prayed the prayer with us. Finally, we said our goodbyes! We are back at the hotel a little melancholy as we are leaving behind so many wonderful friends made this week. However, we are looking forward to seeing everyone back home. Please pray for our safe travels tomorrow.

Day 4 - PM
What a great afternoon. During our morning session my basketball shoes that are older than Quinn finally bit the dust. We spent our time between sessions discovering that Guatemala does not carry shoes in a size 14. But it made for a great discussion for our group. We strengthen our bodies to help us play better basketball and be victorious against our opponents. But just like my shoe, no matter how strong, our bodies will wear out. The bible tells us in Ephesians 6:10-11 to be strengthened by the Lord and by His vast strength. Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil. God's strength will never wear out and if we trust in him and allow Jesus to be leader of our lives then we can achieve the greatest victory. The victory over death and eternity with God.
Day 4-AM
This morning we were blessed to spend with a high school in Chimaltenango. What a great group of teachers and students. It was nice because we could work on some of the more advanced drills. The name of the school is Bless Colegia. After the drills, we had time to share with them. I am amazed at every time I speak to the groups God takes over completely and puts the words in my mouth. More DVD's left with their coaches and their principal is going to use the DVD as part of their physical education curriculum. On another note, one of Cristobal's facebook contacts saw the picture we posted showing the DVD to our groups and asked if he could send them some to share with their athletes. Awesome!

Day 3
Today we were blessed to spend the morning with about 50-60 children at one of the elementary schools in Chimaltenango. The teachers and staff were all so welcoming. They are all so receptive to the message we are sharing with them. We left additional DVDs with them because they wanted to share the message with all the students at the school. We had two groups this afternoon, younger kids that Quinn and Collin develop some sweet friendships with and older kids that we could focus on the more intense drills. We ended the session with another wonderful opportunity to share God's message with them. As we were leaving, we met the older girls and young women's team (3) teams in all and shared the DVDs with all 45 members. Another wonderful day! God is good!

Day 2 - WOW! Was God at Work Today
From the very first trip I made down here with Bill Seely 6 years ago, I learned to not try to predict what God has in store for us. We were ready to be picked up this morning to start work with our first group of kids only to find out that they had cancelled on us for today. However, we were going to be working with a group tonight and every night this week. So we stopped right there and prayed for God to show us what he would have us do. We were informed that we would be working with an elementary school in the mornings for the rest of the week. Cristobal came back to pick us up this afternoon and we went to Chimaltenango and worked with about 30 kids. We used the video Jeff made and it was wonderful. We were informed that our contact in Chimaltenango had a friend at the local television station for the state of Chimaltenango and that they were coming to get a copy of Jeff's video and show it on television. When they heard we were there working with the kids today they sent a crew and interviewed us for their station tonight. They asked if other kids could join us for the rest of the week. So they allowed us to invite them during the interview. This video and the interview just went out on television to the entire state of Chimaltenango which is about 400,000 people of which they told us an estimated 100,000 people would view this interview and video. We may have just a few more kids tomorrow. We started out this morning hoping our week wasn't getting cancelled completely and God opened the floodgates. He is truly amazing!

Day 1-Preparing to do God's work
If there is one thing I have learned in coming here it is to be flexible to whatever God has planned. Our day started with Cristobal picking us up and heading to Antigua to attend church services. As it was, God's plan included us having to do some automotive work on the way. A new muffler later and we still made it for the 11:00am service. Wow! was God at work there. It was truly amazing to see how moved everyone in the service was. The main church service is in Guatemala City and there are (5) satellite services being held in different towns. We enjoyed a nice meal afterwards with Cristobal and his family. We are back and getting everything together for tomorrow. We can't wait to see what God has planned for us when we start working with the kids in the morning.

HEADING TO THE AIRPORT!
today is the day. Quinn, Collin, Trevor and I are heading to the airport for our families to see us off. Please pray for God to use us to the best of our abilities to advance His kingdom and glorify His name above all others.
